This is an old illustration… was a hand rendered typography brief. We were to use the word ‘slimy’ and illustrate it… so obviously I turned to my inspiration and the first thing that popped into mind was Frank Zappa’s “I’m the Slime” and at the time it was elections in South Africa.
Now i’ve always had a thing about politicians… I think majority of them are scum bags and slime balls trying to manipulate you through what ever means possible… In this case, they are the slime oozing out from your TV set.
